Born and raised in London, once Shein earned her honours degree and ACCA accounting qualification, she went on to establish a distinguished career in the City of London within finance functions at prestigious Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated firms across private equity including capital markets (KKR and Bridgepoint), asset management (Invesco), brokerage (TP ICAP) and wealth management (RBC Brewin Dolphin).

Shein’s career in the UAE has seen her authorised by both the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) as Finance Officer (FO) for a range of regulated firms under different categories operating within the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) respectively.
